Meyerโ€™s RV is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to support our Controller and CFO in overseeing the companyโ€™s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance functions. This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-location retail environment.


The Assistant Controller will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Close Process

  • Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting across multiple dealership locations
  • Support preparation of financial packages for leadership

Accounting Operations

  • Oversee general ledger integrity and account reconciliations
  • Prepare & review journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Monitor floorplan financing and related reconciliations

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and enhance internal control policies and procedures
  • Support external audit and tax engagements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Assist in implementation and documentation of process improvements

Team Leadership

  • Assist with supervision and mentoring of accounting staff
  • Collaborate with location-level management & operations teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and service departments

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support ERP and dealership management system optimization

Requirements:Qualifications
