The Senior Director, Deal Strategy and Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end commercial execution-from deal structuring to contract finalization-ensuring every strategic transaction is managed with precision, velocity, and alignment to business goals. This individual will lead core functions including the Deal Desk, complex deal management, commercial contract operations, and bespoke pricing support for the firm's largest enterprise opportunities (Select Bid).

You will collaborate across Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Executive teams to ensure that Intapp's deals are well-structured, competitively priced, contractually sound, and efficiently executed.

What you will do:

  • Deal Desk Leadership:Build and lead a world-class Deal Desk function that supports field teams with deal structuring, pricing guidance, approvals, and compliance with commercial policy.

  • Deal Management:Drive end-to-end deal execution across enterprise and strategic accounts-partnering with sales, legal, and finance to remove friction, accelerate cycles, and ensure internal alignment.

  • Contracts Management:Oversee the commercial contract process, including redlines, negotiations, and coordination with legal counsel. Develop scalable templates, playbooks, and governance practices.

  • Process Optimization:Design and refine commercial workflows, approval matrices, and escalation paths to reduce deal latency and increase scalability.

  • Executive Collaboration:Partner with senior stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance, Product) to align on strategic deal terms, business risk posture, and margin protection.

  • Data & Insights:Deliver visibility into pipeline quality, pricing trends, discounting behavior, and deal velocity through dashboards and commercial analytics.

  • Team Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing transaction management team capable of supporting a global, fast-paced sales organization.

  • Commercial Enablement:Educate the field on approval policies, contracting standards, and best practices to drive consistency and confidence in deal-making.

What you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in enterprise SaaS with deep expertise in deal desk, commercial operations, or revenue strategy.

  • Demonstrated success supporting complex, high-value transactions in a global B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and contract structures.

  • Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functionally at senior levels.

  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving in high-stakes deal environments.

  • Experience with CPQ tools, CLM systems, and CRM platforms.

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD or MBA is a plus
