Job description

About Us

At Fundraise Up, we are reimagining the fundraising platform to create the fastest and most convenient way to donate to non-profit organizations. Our innovation is aimed at enhancing loading speeds, boosting conversion rates, offering diverse payment methods, and more. Each month, individuals worldwide donate tens of millions of dollars through our platform.

We are the go-to fundraising solution for some of the world's leading non-profit organizations. UNICEF, The Obama Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, and many others leverage our platform for their online fundraising needs.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Deal Desk Manager to establish and lead the Deal Desk function within our Finance and Business Operations team. This is a foundational role that will bring structure, accuracy, and insight to how we assess, price, and forecast our revenue opportunities across the sales cycle.

Unlike traditional SaaS businesses, our model is transactional - we don't rely on contracts or fixed commitments. Our revenue comes directly from donation volume, so the Deal Desk will play a critical role in ensuring that pipeline estimates and deal values are accurate, consistent, and grounded in real data about nonprofit donation behavior.

What You'll Do

  • Build the Deal Desk function from the ground up, including frameworks, tools, and processes that enable accurate forecasting and revenue attribution.
  • Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Legal and Finance to validate pipeline data and ensure that deal values reflect consistent logic tied to each nonprofit's actual or expected donation volume.
  • Develop and maintain a standard methodology for deal value estimation, leveraging internal benchmarks, historical data, and donation behavior patterns.
  • Implement controls and reporting to identify discrepancies between sales pipeline, donation data, and realized revenue.
  • Support forecast accuracy and board-level reporting, ensuring alignment between CRM pipeline and financial models.
  • Collaborate with Product and Data teams to improve data sources and visibility into nonprofit donation flows.
  • Advise GTM leadership on pricing and structure of high-impact or complex deals.
  • Build scalable documentation and training to ensure consistent use of Deal Desk processes across the GTM organization.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance within a technology or fintech company.
  • Proven track record building or scaling Deal Desk functions that improve forecasting and pipeline accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with CRM (Salesforce) and financial systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and process design capability.
  • Ability to translate between business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Product) and data-driven systems.
  • Experience in a transactional or volume-based business model (e.g. payments, donations, marketplaces, or usage-based SaaS) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; comfortable challenging assumptions and bringing clarity to complex GTM dynamics.

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this role is $138k - $150k
  • Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role's requirements and location.

Perks & Benefits

  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family.
  • FSA and HSA Spending Account.
  • 20 days of vacation, 5 sick days, 11 company holidays plus an additional 1 floating holiday.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • 100% Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, basic life insurance and AD&D.
  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks for primary caregivers / 6 weeks for secondary caregivers).
  • Generous home office stipend to support your remote workspace.
  • Annual professional development stipend to support your growth (e.g., workshops, courses, and seminars).
  • Charitable giving program and paid volunteer time off with registered non-profits.
