What you'll do: The position has overall responsibility for the leasing, accounting, reporting and physical condition of the property. Manages Multi-Family location by performing the following duties personally or through other personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage property to its financial budget. This includes management and control of rent collection, purchase order approvals. Work with Regional Property Manager to ensure all policies and procedures are in accordance with company policy.
  • Assists with all internal and external marketing efforts. Ensure that the property is being marketed aggressively to meet occupancy goals as outlined in the annual plan. Survey the market for rent concessions and specials and develop appropriate programs for the property.
  • Reports on status of property, such as occupancy rates and dates of expiration of leases.
  • Inspect and oversee the condition of the units to ensure a quality apartment product is being provided. Oversee all maintenance efforts to ensure proper priorities are being set and met to accomplish marketing goals. Supervise all move-in and move-out efforts with Maintenance Team Leader. Inspect and approve all make readies and dispositions.
  • Manage Tax Credit files and recertification to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manager all Tax Credit reporting. Train staff to comply with Tax Credit laws as applicable.
  • Manage all customer service and resident retention efforts for the property. Manage customer satisfaction initiatives and act as primary liaison for residents with issues.
  • Drive to assigned properties and various locations as the position requires.
  • Oversee property and staff is in compliance with Fair Housing and applicable Tax Credit laws.

What it takes to join our team:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
