You will deepen your expertise in SaaS economics and complex commercial structures while influencing how Genesys improves deal execution and supports sustainable growth.

At Genesys, collaboration and empathy shape how teams solve problems for customers and one another. Your commercial leadership will help Sales teams move with confidence, enable customers to reach successful agreements, and strengthen the processes that support long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial strategy for medium to high-complexity SaaS transactions, influencing pricing, deal structure, contractual positioning, revenue quality, margin, and cash outcomes
  • Govern deal terms and approvals in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring pricing, documentation, quotes, and contracts align with established financial policies and approval frameworks
  • Lead deal exception and approval processes with senior stakeholders, accelerating informed decisions while maintaining appropriate commercial and financial controls
  • Own the coordination and progression of contract negotiations across Sales, Legal, Finance, and customers, resolving open commercial issues and helping deals advance efficiently
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with customers within approved authority levels, balancing customer needs, business value, and commercial risk
  • Advise Sales teams on non-standard pricing, commercial constructs, and contractual scenarios using policy, precedent, financial analysis, and sound business judgment
  • Develop scalable pricing, margin, and deal review capabilities in partnership with Pricing, Finance, Sales Operations, and Revenue Operations to improve consistency and price realization
  • Influence deal strategy through deep knowledge of Genesys products, SaaS pricing models, market dynamics, and customer needs, strengthening value positioning and commercial outcomes
  • Drive Deal Desk transformation and quote-to-cash improvements across Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, Legal, Pricing, Product Management, and Customer Success Operations
  • Strengthen commercial governance by identifying deal risk, driving cross-functional alignment, and serving as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders and business partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in a SaaS environment, including Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Field Finance, Revenue Operations, or a related commercial function
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and negotiating small to medium, complex sales transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of software pricing, discounting, value positioning, and revenue recognition fundamentals
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with the judgment to translate analysis into practical commercial recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations and complex deal considerations to senior stakeholders
  • Deep working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely resolution of open issues
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively under pressure and make sound recommendations and decisions within defined authority
  • Strong experience partnering cross-functionally to develop collaborative, scalable commercial solutions
  • Proven ability to influence, build trust, and apply business judgment across Sales and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS transactions involving non-standard pricing, commercial structures, or contractual terms
  • Strong background in deal economics, pricing strategy, margin analysis, or commercial governance
