Our clients include residential, educational and large scale commercial agriculture and cannabis growers. We offer a variety of energy efficient, innovative greenhouse products and HVAC+D systems to match the needs of our client base.

Ceres Greenhouse Solutions is seeking a qualified and motivated HVAC Controls Engineer/Technician with TRIDIUM NIAGRA experience for our Boulder, CO offices to support our continual and rapid growth in the agriculture precision environment control systems for agriculture grow facilities. The ideal candidate is a top performer, bringing high energy and enthusiasm, and working well in teams and independently to complete project deliverables on time and within budget and must have the ability to work within diverse teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the successful deployment and integration of building automation control systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop standardized software and dashboards within the Niagara Tridium framework, utilizing tags and hierarchy to create fast, simple designs that meet client needs.
  • Plan, document, and incorporate customer requirements for Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
  • Design control systems based on project requirements or industry standards, utilizing electronic or digital control systems knowledge. Document these designs using software such as Visio, CAD, and/or Revit for control drawings and write and test programs using various control system software languages.
  • Analyze, integrate, configure, and test building automation control systems as defined by the project specifications or scope of work.
  • Integrate and configure irrigation and fertigation systems as part of the overall control system, ensuring precise water and nutrient delivery control.
  • Provide effective customer support and interface while working through the system development phases.
  • Train and educate the customer in control systems operations and provide manuals and documentation as required.
  • Participate in meetings with engineering and project teams to ensure quality system designs and customer project requirements are met.
  • This position will require between 25% - 50% within the USA and Canada.

Essential Experience and Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience with DDC design and implementation of control systems.
  • Expertise with computers and computer software packages, including but not limited to Niagara Framework, Sky Spark analytics, Reflow, VISIO, CAD, MS Office, Browsers, and HTML.
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilating, air conditioning equipment, and related DDC and building management systems.
  • Experience with lighting control systems utilized for agriculture farming.
  • Technical HVAC, Building Control Systems, and DDC Controls certifications are required.
  • Strong ability to perform technical DDC BAS integration checkout at project field locations.

Total Compensation: US$95,000- US$110,000 annual composed of base pay and bonus.
