What are Building Automation Controls?

Building Automation Controls are systems and technologies used to automatically control and monitor a building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and security. These controls help improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational performance by allowing centralized or remote management of various building functions. Building Automation Systems (BAS) often use sensors, controllers, and software to collect data and make real-time adjustments to optimize building operations.
