House Manager & Family Assistant (with Childcare Support & Meal Prep)

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89141 (with occasional travel to Park City, UT and Cabo)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Proposed Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm

Compensation: $66,560 $76,960 annually (based on experience)

Requirements:

About Our Family:

We are a dynamic family with a busy, growing household. Our 1.5-year-old son is about to be joined by a baby girl this May. Alongside our new baby, we have a 9-year-old German Shepherd who holds a special place in our hearts. We also own homes in Las Vegas, Park City, and Cabo. While you won't be required to manage these homes, there will be occasional travel, especially during the summer months to Park City.

Dad is a business owner, traveling 2-3 days a week, while mom is a stay-at-home parent, creating a nurturing and organized home environment. We are a social family, actively engaging with our neighbors and hosting regular playdates and activities with other families.

We are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate into our family, helping us manage our home and maintain a balanced lifestyle. Our focus is on quality family time, and we need someone who can handle the daily tasks that allow us to be fully present for each other.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a patient and proactive individual who is skilled in household management and enjoys being part of a busy family dynamic. The role will consist of 50% house management and 50% childcare, offering plenty of variety each day. You should be tech-savvy, take initiative, and be capable of anticipating needs. From managing household supplies to meal prep and pet care, you will maintain the organization and high standards of our home.

We are looking for someone who can evolve with us as our children grow and who is open to long-term collaboration. Flexibility is key as responsibilities and schedules will change over time.

Key Responsibilities:Household Management & Organization
  • Maintain organization systems for closets, pantry, storage, and toys
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; ensure home is prepped for cleaning services twice a week
  • Oversee household schedules and calendars
  • Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, dcor, bedding)
  • Coordinate vendor services (cleaners, landscapers, handymen)
  • Manage travel packing/unpacking for family members
  • Supervise household service providers and research vendors when needed
Inventory Management & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies
  • Manage household supply lists and coordinate orders (Amazon, Costco, etc.)
  • Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping)
  • Handle mail and package drop-offs
Meal Planning & Preparation
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals/snacks for the family 2-3 times a week
  • Batch cook and create grab-and-go options for the family
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen organization
Laundry & Linen Care
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Rotate bedding, refresh towels, and restock linen essentials
  • Handle special care for baby's items and parents' specialty clothing
Pet Care
  • Feed and walk the dog, pick up after as needed
  • Prepare homemade dog food (ground beef, veggies, quinoa)
  • House-sit and care for the dog during family travel
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
Vehicle Management
  • Ensure family vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized, as needed
Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors)
  • Research and coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs
Family Support & Child Assistance
  • Transport child to playdates, activities, and appointments as needed
  • Provide backup childcare and supervision for child

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
