Essential Responsibilities and Duties Include:
  • Achieve exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through efficient receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop hourly associates through ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and employee development.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and respect.
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, safety, quality, inventory accuracy, attendance, and labor efficiency.
  • Utilize warehouse management reports and operational data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve performance.
  • Plan daily staffing, assign work, balance labor resources, and adjust priorities based on business needs.
  • Train and cross-train associates on SOPs, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, corrective action, and employee recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and all safety standards.
  • Conduct safety observations, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, root cause analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization through 5S standards.
  • Partner with Transportation, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations leadership to resolve issues and improve service.
  • Operate and demonstrate proficiency on warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers.
  • Prepare operational reports, labor summaries, productivity reports, and shift communications.
  • Lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressive warehouse/distribution leadership experience.
  • Experience in Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and high-volume distribution operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience with RF technology and Voice Pick systems preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and develop employees.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
