Job description

Summary/Objective

Provide work directions to warehouse team and drivers to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost and people objectives set by the customer and MAU. This will require the Supervisor to manage the daily tasks of inventory control and material movement at offsite locations and DC.

Essential Functions

Customer Expectations

  • Lead Pre-Shift Meetings
  • Attend scheduled performance meetings with the customer
    • Manage employee work assignments
    • Communicate shift turnover effectively
    • Perform Gemba walks throughout the shift (Process Compliance)
    • Verify production via Hour by Hour reporting
      • Address issues that are below target
      • Document corrective actions
    • Respond / Perform special requests from the customer
    • Address Concerns
    • Provide Follow Up
  • Ensure associate/colleague standard work is followed
  • Ability to implement countermeasures and apply containment
  • Ensure SOIs are maintained and being followed
  • Ensure associate compliance with GMP, dress code and MAU policies

Talent Management

  • Sustain and support Leader Standard Work
