Job description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an experienced Operations professional to join a well-established finance firm based in Bethesda. This role will report to the Managing Director of Operations and bridge the efforts between strategic goals and the execution of plans. This is an exciting role for an Operations professional with previous experience in finance or investment industries, who is looking to join a forward thinking and cohesive team.
 
Responsibilities Include:
 • Contribute to strategic planning and executive of initiatives across the Operations, Technology, Portfolio Management, Project Management, and Client Services space
 • Consistently evaluate workflows for revision and drive operational change management
 • Collaborate closely with portfolio management and investment teams on risk management and operational workflow
 • Oversee administrative and operational infrastructure
 • Serve as interdepartmental central liaison for communication and implementation of firm initiatives
 • Contribute to high level working groups and strategic initiatives

Candidate Requirements:
 • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus
 • 4+ years experience working in investment management with direct exposure to Operations, Portfolio Operations, Technology, Project Management, and Client Services
 • Analytical and process improvement approach to problem solving
 • Strong team leadership and communication skills

Compensation:
 • $150,000 - $170,000 base annually 
 

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
