The Workplace Operations team ensures Robinhood offices run smoothly each day, supporting employees through reliable services, well-maintained spaces, and engaging workplace programs. The team partners closely with functions such as IT, Recruiting, People Operations, and Finance to deliver consistent and high-quality office experiences across locations. Team members focus on operational excellence, strong service standards, and creating environments where employees can do their best work!
As a Workplace Specialist, you will manage daily office operations in our D.C location and serve as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and building management. You will oversee workplace services such as supplies, maintenance, and office programs while supporting events and onboarding activities. This role contributes to a welcoming, organized, and productive environment by maintaining high standards across facilities and services. You will also support office projects and coordinate with internal partners to ensure consistent workplace practices across locations.
This role is based in our Washington, DC office, with in-person attendance expected five days per week

What you'll do
  • Manage daily office operations, including coordinating with building management, handling maintenance requests, and maintaining inventory of supplies
  • Track office expenses and support budget management by monitoring forecasts and actual spend
  • Plan and support employee events, onboarding activities, and office programs that strengthen employee engagement
  • Oversee vendor services such as meals, snacks, office supplies, and facility maintenance to ensure consistent service quality
  • Maintain office organization and functionality, including furniture updates, asset tracking, and cleanliness standards
What you bring
  • 3+ years of experience in workplace coordination, hospitality, or event management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort serving as a primary point of contact within an office environment
  • Clear problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying issues and implementing practical solutions
  • Experience organizing in-person and virtual events or team activities

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$85,000-$100,000 USD

$75,000-$88,000 USD

$66,000-$78,000 USD
