Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operational leader of all Inbound purchase order receipts, product quality, Inventory reconciliation and storage activities.
• Operational leader of all Outbound picking, packing, accuracy and shipping activities
• Proven ability to professionally engaged with other site leaders and lead a small team including hiring, training, performance evaluations delegating/directing work along with managing time and attendance.
• Responsible for driving and maintaining a safe and clean working environment upholding all required safety protocols for all DC employees.
• Directly work with internal/external partners to drive new initiatives, provide key KPI/Metric performance updates and, aid in driving a best-in-class customer experience.
• Sets operational expectations through implementing and maintaining all labor performance and quality metrics, establishes clear roles and responsibilities for their teams and, holds individuals accountable to any documented standards.
• Develop a high depth of knowledge with all systems, controls and tools used in the DC including, having the capability to train and, clarify functionality.
• Proven ability to drive results against budgeted performance/cost targets including forecasting impeding challenges, looking for areas of improvement and providing process improvement initiatives with full ROI justifications.
• Ability to leverage data and trends to align staffing outcomes, hours utilization and, identify root causes to operational impacts.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school preferred but not required; 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, leadership and on-site experience.
• Proven ability to professionally engaged with other site leaders and lead a small team including hiring, training, performance evaluations delegating/directing work along with managing time and attendance.
• Must have extensive experience in an automated environment where the WMS, Systems Controls, and automation are physically and systemically connected and communicating to complete operational activities.
• Must have extensive labor management experience either though a LMS and or, other tools that drove employee performance and quality standards.
• Highly experienced in driving warehouse safety including power equipment standards, accident/injury documentation and, maintaining safe working habits.
• Proven expertise in developing salaried leaders including coaching core leadership competencies, detailing performance appraisal and, developing roles & responsibilities.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excell, MS office and MS word along with other similar PC based activities and or tools.
• Must be comfortable using PC and tools remotely to aid in problem solving, root cause analysis and systems testing/diagnosis while in the moment.
• Must show the proven capability to lead/manage multiple projects/tasks and, the ability to prioritize and delegate promptly.
