Job description

Plant Laborer

Seeking a reliable and safety-focused Plant Laborer to join the galvanizing team. This position is hands-on and involves working closely with coworkers to handle galvanized materials, operate tools and equipment, and ensure that finished products meets company quality standards.


Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to use wire cutters, other hand tools, power tools such as grinders and overhead crane

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Follows written and verbal instructions with accuracy and reliability.

Maintains a safety-focused mindset and works well in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities:

Load and unload galvanized materials using an overhead crane.

Use wire cutters to cut galvanized materials onto work horses.

Review tags attached to materials to determine the required quality level (A, AA, or DBL).

Finish materials using files or grinders with sanding disks to meet quality specifications.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and timelines.


Schedule: 3:00am 1:30pm Friday-Sunday

Wage: $17.00 per hour
