As a Center Director, You Will:
  • Lead with Purpose: Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture for children, families, and employees while leading by example.
  • Maintain Safety & Compliance: Ensure the center meets all health, safety, and state licensing requirements and maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Build a Strong Team: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain qualified teachers and support staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.

  • Manage Center Operations: Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, enrollment, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Drive Enrollment & Family Engagement: Conduct tours, build relationships with prospective families, support family retention, and create opportunities to increase enrollment.
  • Build Community Connections: Plan and participate in community events and marketing initiatives that increase awareness of the center and strengthen relationships with local families.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has at least one year of center leadership or management experience; two or more years is highly preferred.
  • Holds the required state-specific Director or Administrative credential.
  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, highly preferred.
  • Has strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood best practices.
  • Has excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Is passionate about developing teachers and creating a positive experience for children and families.
  • Is comfortable balancing people leadership, classroom support, family relationships, and business operations.
Experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly valued.
