Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is hiring for a Classroom and Daycare Aide for Keuka Lake School in Yates County. This position assists in providing direct and indirect special education/general education and carryover therapy services to preschool children with and without disabilities.
Classroom and Daycare Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children while being part of a supportive, collaborative team! As a Classroom & Daycare Aide, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
In this role, you will support children in achieving the goals outlined in their Life Plans and Individual Service Plans (ISPs) while working alongside teachers and therapists to bring educational and developmental activities to life. You'll help prepare creative learning materials, classroom displays, and hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and celebrate each child's accomplishments.
Your day will include assisting with classroom routines, supervising children during learning and play activities, supporting arrival and dismissal, and providing personal care assistance, including toileting and toilet training when needed. You'll also help prepare snacks and meals, support lunchtime routines, and plan engaging activities for children in the daycare program.

Classroom and Daycare Aide Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, as well as possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.
