Job Title: University PACU RN
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: $2,177.28 per week
Shifts: 7 pm - 7:30 am
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced University PACU RN for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role involves working in a dynamic post-anesthetic care unit, catering to both inpatient and outpatient post-op admissions. Nurses will work in a supportive, high-tech environment with access to 24/7 anesthesia, surgery, and intensivist support.

Key Responsibilities of the University PACU RN
  • Provide post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient admissions
  • Perform stroke assessments and manage EVD, A-lines, and CT operations
  • Ensure medication safety and initiate IV starts
  • Administer and manage cardiac drips, sedation, and pain management
Requirements of the University PACU RN
  • NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years PACU experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Proficient in stroke assessment skills, EVD, A-lines, CT management, and medication safety
  • Experience with IV starts, vents, cardiac drips, sedation, and pain management
