Contract | Travel | 24-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM) | Projected Start: April 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 40-bed PACU unit maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
  • Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and standard PACU equipment
  • Collaborate with PCTs and HUC support staff across assigned pods
  • Perform and document patient assessments and interventions using Cerner electronic health records
  • Participate in call shifts as required per 6-week scheduling cycle (minimum 3 call shifts per 6-week block)
  • Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • NIH Stroke Scale experience
  • Proficiency with ventilator monitoring
  • Ability to wear required scrub colors: surgical green or navy
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Trauma care experience
  • Pediatric patient care experience
  • Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
