This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.
Responsibilities for this role will include serving as a day-to-day client and team leader.ย  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cultural trends, proven working knowledge of today's media landscape, strong writing skills, and experience building programs that deliver earned results. This person will be responsible for developing integrated communications strategies that proactively and reactively achieve key business objectives. They will effectively drive a workstream forward while managing up and guiding more junior team members.

  • Manage day-to-day client workstreams, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and driving the team to ensure timely execution of program elements
  • Develop and execute integrated communications programs (e.g. including media relations/earned media, event management, talent/paid and earned influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, data-based storytelling, and social/PR content production oversight) in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to the client
  • Understands how to conceive and execute successful, social-first programs that drive earned
  • Be proactive, anticipate client needs and keep multiple activities moving
  • Present strategic recommendations and ongoing updates / counsel to key internal and external stakeholders, building strong client relationships and trust
  • Cultivate and foster relationships with key traditional and new media contacts in the consumer lifestyle space
  • Identify and tap into cultural and lifestyle trends to uncover proactive storytelling opportunities and fuel earned-first creative concepts
  • Develop high-quality written materials, showcasing strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Oversee junior team members' work on assigned accounts, providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional development and to ensure high-quality work output for clients
  • Willing and able to fuel and implement fresh thinking, push boundaries, and experiment - always looking for the "new" factor for our clients
  • Participate in new business pitch development and/or presentations
  • 6-8 years of experience in consumer PR and communications (working on integrated communications/marketing programs required)
  • Experience working on large brands within the consumer category (luxury, lifestyle, travel, sports and entertainment, is a plus)
  • Prior experience in PR, integrated consumer communications campaigns, brand partnerships, and large-scale event activations
  • Creative storytelling skills coupled with a deep understanding on how to package a modern earned story that fits how we consume information today
  • Deep understanding of developing traditional and new media strategies and strong media relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term programs and deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience engaging mid- to senior-level clients
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and can move quickly and thoughtfully across different workstreams
  • Bachelor's Degree

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $107,000-$125,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
