This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.
The SVP, Integrated Communications will lead integrated consumer work and client relationships for an iconic global brand, and serve as a leader who will help us grow our practice. As a senior member of the team, we expect you to be the champion of the account from the brief to execution, driving clarity and sell-in for cross-disciplinary ideas and ensuring that we deliver success across a range of channels. Ultimately, we are looking for a leader who understands how to tell a great story in today's ever-evolving earned media landscape with programs that meet consumers where they lurk.
The ideal candidate has experience providing strategic counsel to clients and effectively driving momentum to push progressive work forward. They have a mix of creative thinking and strategic reasoning, and understand how to effectively drive earned-first results in partnership with different disciplines (e.g., creative, production, paid influencer, social, etc.), whether internally or amongst an external integrated team. As a senior member of the team, you will lead the charge on projects and provide your expertise across all components of the process-assessing project feasibility, assigning work, resourcing, project planning, and interfacing directly with clients. This person will be responsible for helping develop modern integrated earned communications strategies that build brand awareness and achieve key business objectives. In addition to team management and mentorship experience, we are also looking for someone who can be part of new business and management decisions and can help us grow our Brand Communications practice with existing and new clients.
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and business leader for large consumer accounts and workstreams
  • Oversee and develop insight-driven ideas rooted in culture and today's earned media landscape that reach clients' business and marketing goals
  • Be an expert in earned media, understanding what it takes to tell a story that breaks through in today's changing marketing and communications landscape
  • Partner directly with team members across communications, creative, design, influencer, and production, overseeing integrated projects as needed
  • Brainstorm and bring a point of view, contributing ideas and creative executions to solve problems in unexpected ways, and translate them in ways that feel simple
  • Stay on top of the changing social, digital, and cultural landscape-looking for untapped opportunities and fresh thinking to bring to our work and the Brand Communications team
  • Be a thought-partner for senior-level clients by understanding their business while helping to maintain and deepen our client relationship
  • Ensure that earned media, talent, content, and influencer strategies are aligned with clients' overarching objectives
  • Be proactive, anticipate client needs, and keep multiple activities moving
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to agency teams, while remaining hands-on as needed to help deliver success
  • Participate in and lead new business pitch development and/or presentations
  • Serve on the Brand Communications leadership team, which includes helping to build new capabilities, driving office culture, and mentoring staff

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience
  • 12+ years of agency experience, successfully managing or contributing to integrated, earned-first creative ideation and campaign execution
  • Proven track record of client leadership, leading earned-first work, and driving success both from a results and account growth perspective
  • Ability to connect big-picture strategy with tactical execution; conceptual and editorially minded, with the skill to break through using modern earned media storytelling across major and emerging platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven client and team leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the people skills to inspire teams and clients alike
  • Highly self-motivated, reliable, and organized; able to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for teamwork, with experience building brand partnerships, integrated communications strategies, and large-scale event activations
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and driven to deliver results amid today's ever-evolving environment
  • Skilled at seamlessly overseeing and delivering earned media results across diverse clients and categories-including lifestyle, travel, consumer tech, luxury, and sports
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (e.g., team upskilling, GEO, etc.) is a plus

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $190,000-$220,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
