Job description

Jenkintown Day Nursery provides a safe, supportive and enriching environment for children ages 2-5. Our children get an outstanding start on their education in small, nurturing classes, which combine learning and play. Our teachers promote independence, self -esteem, positive attitudes and readiness skills, preparing children for success.
We are seeking qualified toddler and preschool teachers and assistants who will:
  • Meet the individual needs of the children providing the highest quality of care
  • Develop Lesson plans
  • Implement Jenkintown Day Nursery Curriculum
  • Support our children and families as a member of a team
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Promote a nurturing and learning environment
  • Create a multi-cultural learning environment
  • Engage and encourage creativity through art, music, and play
  • Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
  • Participate in staff and training meetings

Hours- M-F, 8:30-5:30, M-F, 8:00-5:00 or M-F 9:00-6:00
