Job description


Position Title:
Converting Forklift Operator / Transfer Cart Operator - 2nd Shift
Pay Rate:
$25.67/hr. plus shift differential
Sign-on Bonus:
$500 after 30 days,
$500 after 6 months
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time
2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm
Monday - Friday, must be able to work any shift
7am - 3pm (training period only)

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Operate Transfer Cart in converting department, transferring stock from lines to other lines feeding converting machines
  • Operate Forklift in order to move stock or waste from converting to trash or to and from other departments
  • Move pallets using forklift to converting department
  • Verify incoming stack quantities for accuracy
  • Following all trained and published safety policies and procedures
  • The ability to practice and maintain great housekeeping, blowing out scrap from under lines
  • Other duties as required

The Skills You Will Bring:
  • 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift experience highly preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
  • Verifiable, stable work history
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed
  • Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions
