Job description

TENAX has openings for Information Technology support services for the Office of Naval Intelligence. These are onsite, full time positions requiring Top Secret / SCI clearances, and IT certifications.


The Database Administrator assess and recommends advanced solutions in existing systems to enhance database performance and accessibility to meet mission requirements. Administers, tests, and implements computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes IAW existing organizational processes to computer databases. Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures IAW risk management framework to safeguard computer databases.


Required Qualifications

  • An active TS clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required.
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or years of experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience with Database Administration
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or Postgres or similar database platforms
  • IAT LeveL II/Level III Certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL experience in optimizing queries, stored procedures, and complex joins.
  • Experience with other database platforms such as RedShift, DynamoDB, and/or Mongo
