You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in database administration, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Bachelor's Degree

Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Database Management, Systems Engineering, etc.

General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries
• Manage database backups and recovery processes
• Implement and enforce database security measures
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Create and maintain database documentation

• Proficiency in Oracle database management tools
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Experience with database performance tuning
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques
• Understanding of data security practices
• Ability to manage database replication and clustering

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell)
• Experience with database migrations and upgrades
