Our client has an opening for ERP Database Administrator (762379)

This position is up to 6 months with the option of extension. The client is located in Richmond, VA.

ON SITE REQUIRED: 3 days/week in Richmond,VA

Experience supporting production and development Oracle EBS application and databases Required 8 Years

Oracle EBS 12.2.12 Required 8 Years

Oracle Linux 8 Required 8 Years

Experience with database containerization and editioning Required 8 Years

Experience in Oracle Cloud Desired 8 Years

Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager Desired 8 Years

Linux Korn shell scripting Desired 8 Years

ABOUT THE ROLE

The State Corporation Commission is looking for an experienced Applications DBA to support our Oracle Financial/HR System (eSCC) running in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. The candidate needs to provide daily production and development support for the eSCC applications team. The position will also require applying the latest Oracle Critical Security patches. The candidate will also need to provide daily support of the Power BI reporting tool.

Responsibilities Include:

· Report to Database Manager

· Monitor production and development apps and databases

· Apply Oracle EBusiness application and security patches

· Respond to development assistance requests

· Provide after-hours application support as needed. *The after-hours phrase does not refer to being on-call. The occasional after-hours would-be times scheduled in advance to perform patching and maintenance on the EBS environments
