Job Title: Database Administrator (DB2, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, Azure)
Location: Fully Remote (Candidate should be ready to work in Central time zone)
Duration: Contract
Experience Level: Preferably looking for 5-8 Years of experience Candidate
Note: We are looking data Administration candidate not Developer
Responsibilities:
Database Management: Manage and maintain DB2, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, and Azure databases to ensure they are secure, efficient, and reliable.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of emergencies.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues, including database connectivity and performance problems.
Database Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute database upgrades and patches to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for database deployment, management, and optimization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on DB2, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and maintenance.
