Responsibilities
- In this role under general supervision of the Scientific Director of the lab, the Magnetoencephalography Technologist (MEG) will support the day-to-day operations of the MEG Lab at the Dorothy Mangurian Neuroimaging (DMN) Suite at UF Health Fixel Institute.
- The MEG Lab is part of an integrated imaging suite at the DMN Suite that includes EEG, MRI, PET and TMS.
- The MEG operations will involve clinical work and research in patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions.
- The MEG scanner will also function as an instrument for basic scientific research and support such activities from the wider University of Florida campus.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, computer science, or related fields
- CMEG and/or R.EEG.T certificate
- Experience with computer systems (Unix, Mac, and PC), programming and scripting, and database management
- Experience with medical research methodology and design
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) qualifications from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) within 18 months of hire
- Credentialed in Magnetoencephalography (CMEG) from the American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) within 18 months of hire
