We seek Junior Database Developer candidates with relevant Defense, And Security Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Defense, And Security Sector Clients such as LCSRON. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Metrics Business Analysis and Database Development Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - Metrics Business Analyst and Junior Database Developers Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work:  responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of databases that support business operations, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making. In the context of this engagement with LCSRON TWO, the Junior Database Developer is expected to:

- Collaborate with Metrics Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate operational needs into efficient database structures.

- Convert complex, spreadsheet-based processes into streamlined, multi-user databases using tools such as Microsoft Access, SharePoint, SQL, VBA, and HTML.

- Support Navy operations and leadership with robust data solutions for Preventive Maintenance (PMAV), Operational and Material Availability (Ao/Am), and Train to Qualify (T2Q) replacement Sailor readiness.

 - build clean, efficient, and scalable database systems that transform messy spreadsheets into actionable insights.

 - enable Database automation with user-friendly dashboards, ensuring data is digestible, decisions are data-driven, and operations stay mission-ready.

- Partner with analysts and SMEs, we translate real-world Navy challenges into seamless backend solutions.

Database Design & Development

- Build and maintain relational databases to centralize metrics tracking.

- Migrate legacy spreadsheet-based systems into automated platforms.

- Ensure that databases are secure, accessible, and easy to update by multiple users.

Collaborative Engineering

- Work directly with Maintenance Execution Teams, CNSL Class Advocates, and SMEs to understand process workflows and turn them into structured data models.

- Provide input on technical requirements during collaborative status and design meetings.

Data Visualization & Reporting

- Design user-friendly interfaces and reports that display data in intuitive formats: charts, graphs, and dashboards.

- Support Flag-level briefs and high-level Navy leadership with clear, data-driven insights.
