Job Summary

Southern Industrial Constructors Inc. is seeking Proposal Coordinator in the Raleigh, NC office. The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for supporting SIC's marketing efforts through the planning, coordination and production of proposals, qualifications and related marketing materials. This role ensures an organized and systematic approach to proposal management by maintaining project data, coordinating bid activities, developing proposal content, managing document control and supporting opportunity tracking in our CRM. This role is ultimately responsible for driving efficiency across the proposal process through implementation of best practices, content management strategies and workflow optimization initiatives that increase productivity and proposal effectiveness. The Proposal Coordinator works closely with the Marketing, Business Development, Estimating and Operations teams to deliver high-quality, compliant proposals while meeting critical deadlines and contributing to the company's growth objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage opportunity and project lifecycle in CRM
  • Prepare proposals and qualification packages
  • Assist in Go / No Go process
  • Execute & develop internal database of projects 
  • Create & update current resumes
  • Run weekly estimate log reports
  • Assist with project closeout
  • Drive customer surveys
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in business administration, preferred, not required.
  • At least two years proven experience working in an administrative capacity.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft 365 and Adobe Suite proficiency; database management.
  • Basic clerical skills to include data entry, report preparation, file maintenance, scheduling appointments, and running reports.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.

Physical Demands

Conditions include working in office, with occasional entry into shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses. Occasional exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property.  Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment. Potential Jobsite Visits.
