Forecast & Analysis Consultant
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Forecast & Analysis Consultant is responsible for coordinating and managing all reporting, analysis and forecasting processes. The Forecasting & Analysis Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining a 6-36-month demand and workforce forecasts for FEP operations. This role partners closely with the Workforce Management (WFM) team, Operations, Comprehensive Health Management, and the Data & Reporting Analytics team to provide forward-looking insights that enable proactive staffing, budgeting, and capacity planning. Build predictive and scenario-based models to assess demand variability and risk.
How you will make an impact:
  • Monitors forecast accuracy and continuously refine models using variance analysis.
  • Translates volume forecasts into headcount, FTE, and skill-mix requirements.
  • Partners within WFM to align long-range forecasts with short-term scheduling and intraday management.
  • Supports hiring, backfill, cross-training, and redeployment strategies.
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing all WFM analysis and forecasting processes. (took out reporting)
  • Assures quality and integrity of the data collected and data insights shared with the business. (Eliminated the word reported)
  • Provides expertise to lower-level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  • Provides data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational changes.
  • Quantifies workforce impacts of new programs, regulatory changes, or benefit design shifts.
  • Manages ROI Analysis of initiatives impacting workflow and productivity
  • Presents forecasts, assumptions, and risks to operational and executive leadership.
  • Creates clear, executive-level summaries and consults on dashboard development (took out develop dashboards)
  • Serves as liaison for the FEP WFM forecast processes and the annual operating plan. (took out enrollment)
  • Ensures that forecasting methodologies are aligned with business targets and operating plans are consistent with corporate objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires BA/BS degree in business or related field; a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in data collection, analysis and reporting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Experience with Workforce management tools (e.g., NICE, Verint, Aspect, or similar), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • SQL, Python, or R preferred
  • Knowledge of the health care industry preferred
