Job Description
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm (30 hours per week), Full Year
Position Summary:
The Data Records Specialist provides support to the Office of Advancement in the Advancement Services Department, reporting to the Director of Gifts and Records. This is is a part-time, CWA Union position with hybrid eligibility upon approval.
Responsibilities:
  • Support accurate and secure data entry, retention, and utilize pre-built reports for systems and processes.
  • Download daily deposits from the Online Giving Platform, identify unknown and/or duplicate donors, identify tribute gifts, and connect to donors on CRM, forward information to advancement personnel as necessary.
  • Monitor reports, emails, and alerts to update and/or correct the database appropriately, including any deceased constituents. Communicate with advancement personnel as necessary.
  • Attend department events to support the successful execution of the event by welcoming attendees, answering event questions, and referring attendees or vendors to the event host for further information.
  • Assist supervision of student employees including posting of position, hiring, training, task assignments, providing feedback, and timesheet approvals.
  • Provide support to the new student/parent project as needed.
  • Communicate in multiple modes with department members, vendors, on-campus offices, alumnae/i, volunteers, and/or other off-campus partners to complete departmental tasks.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Three years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word Office suite and ability to learn additional technical systems.
  • Ability to consistently apply policies and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
The compensation for this position is $20.37 per hour.
