Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Quality Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, data quality engineering, and expertise in cloud technologies in Azure, GCP or AWS. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and tools.
Position: Data Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
As a Data Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our organization's data assets. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data quality processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging cloud platforms to optimize data quality and integration.
Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and enforce data quality standards.
Develop and implement data cleansing strategies to address identified data quality issues.
Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to analyze data patterns and identify potential quality issues.
Work on optimizing data architectures for improved data quality and performance.
Utilize cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP to deploy and manage data quality solutions.
Leverage cloud services for scalable storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets.
Document data quality issues, root causes, and remediation steps.
Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data quality requirements and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
