Job description

  • Manage and cross-sell into an existing portfolio of Treasury Management clients to drive treasury and card fee income, deposit growth, and product penetration
  • Schedule, prepare, attend, and follow up on annual Treasury Management client reviews
  • Prepare treasury and commercial card pricing/profitability models, proposals, presentations, and payment cycle reviews
  • Identify merchant services and receivables opportunities and make qualified referrals to FirsTech
  • Qualify small business referrals and lead the process from proposal through implementation
  • Meet with line of business partners to discuss referral opportunities and market trends
  • Assist with RFPs, pitch books, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate and conduct client product demonstrations
  • Gather implementation data, processing instructions, documentation, and other required information
  • Monitor active implementations to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Maintain communication with clients and internal partners throughout sales and implementation
  • Maintain client data in the CRM system and initiate Treasury Management workflows
  • Communicate complex solutions and recommend products that improve efficiency or reduce fraud risk
  • Provide cross-sell referrals to other Bank functional areas
  • Maintain current knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and regulatory requirements
  • Organize and complete assignments professionally, efficiently, and on time
  • Develop positive relationships with Associates, clients, and vendors
  • Represent Busey Bank and the Treasury Management team professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Busey Bank policies, laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Maintain reliable and predictable attendance
Requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management disciplines and related solution sets
  • Knowledge of electronic business banking platforms and other financial services
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Results-oriented with excellent execution and closing capabilities
  • Ability to solve problems independently using logic and discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Finance or Business, or previous banking and sales experience
  • 3+ years of banking experience
  • Treasury Management experience and/or payment technology sales required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Reliable and predictable attendance
