Job Description
The CEJA Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant entry, maintenance, and reporting of participant and program data for the CEJA Workforce Program. This position ensures data integrity by verifying records, conducting internal file audits, monitoring documentation for compliance, and maintaining participant information in required reporting systems.
The Coordinator participates in technical assistance meetings and trainings, stays current on reporting system updates and policy changes, and assists with internal and external audits. This role works closely with program staff to ensure reporting requirements are met, data is accurate, and grant compliance standards are maintained. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon continued funding.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution, or completion of at least 60 semester credit hours in Social Work or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the ability to effectively utilize technology and computerized systems.Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in job placement, workforce development, career services, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with employers and community stakeholders. Experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving employment and career goals. Proficiency in Illinois WorkNet and related workforce development technologies.
Physical Demands
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Must be willing to work beyond an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. work schedule to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. There may be irregular hours, including weekend and/or evening hours. Summer hours may vary. This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule after the probationary period has been successfully completed.
TRAVEL
This position may require occasional travel to meet with employers and attend industry events.
Some local travel is required. Participation at state or local meetings and/or conferences may require overnight travel.
