Forklift Operator Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand‑up / man‑up forklifts to move, stage, and kit materials
- Review printed pick lists and verify inventory availability and accuracy
- Label, tag, and organize parts and materials within the warehouse
- Count and verify physical inventory by hand to ensure accuracy
- Perform basic computer data entry and inventory system navigation
- Support inventory control efforts and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience within the last 5 years
- Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet carts in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable with basic computer use and data entry
- Ability to bend, twist, and lift as required for inventory verification
- Willingness to work required overtime
- Comfortable working at heights while wearing required safety harnesses
Schedule & Work Environment
- Shifts Available:
- Training conducted on day shift for approximately 1–3 weeks
- Mandatory overtime as needed, including Saturdays
- Warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, lifting, and forklift operation

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
