Job Summary
The data entry processor is responsible for processing all financial transactions on behalf of all departments within Campus Operations as well as providing administrative support to Directors, the Assistant Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Senior Vice President. This position will also manage and support minor requisitions for the campus.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators
The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. This job description shall not be construed as a declaration of the total of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Job Responsibilities and Execution
  • Processes departmental expense reports which include compiling purchases, attaching receipts, and assigning expenditures to the applicable cost center within Campus Operations.
  • Manages petty cash fund
  • Processes requisitions, supplier contracts, new supplier requests, supplier invoice requests, and requests for invoices for all departments within Campus Operations
  • Maintains and updates the status of all open financial transactions
  • Supports procurement-related activities by coordinating and processing university beverage and catering orders
  • Reviews and processes University purchase requisitions of $1,000 or less

Service Excellence
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's values
  • Provides timely customer support for daily operations inquiries

Communication, Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Serves as the initial contact for all guests of Campus Operations
  • Communicates and coordinates with Directors on administrative tasks and financial transactions
  • Communicates with University stakeholders on matters regarding minor purchases

Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One (1) to three (3) years of administrative support, data entry, accounts payable, procurement, or related office experience
  • Experience with Workday Finance, preferred

  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
