Contract Type: Intern Fixed-term trainee Contract (6 months), Full-Time (40 hour/ week)

Location: Fontana, CA or City of Industry, CA

Hourly Pay Range: $20-25/hr

About The Team

Youโ€™ll be joining our JD Young Internship Pathway, designed to give early-career talent hands-on experience , supporting the building and improvement of our Job Families for Job Profiles Logistics Warehouse and Supply Chain Management Team. We value curiosity, collaboration, and the confidence to take ownership in a fast-moving environment, helping you build real skills and make real impact from day one.


About the Role

The Warehouse Operations Intern supports daily warehouse operations and works closely with Team Leaders and Operations Managers to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service level goals are met. This role is designed for interns who want hands-on leadership exposure in a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment.

This is a developmental role that prepares interns for future positions such as Team Leader, Supervisor, or Operations Analyst.

Alongside mentorship and learning experiences your day to day role will cover responsibilities such as:

Operations Support

  • Assist with daily inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Monitor workflow and help balance labor across work areas
  • Track productivity, accuracy, and SLA performance
  • Escalate operational issues (labor gaps, system issues, delays) to Team Leaders or Managers

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure SOPs are followed
  • Report safety concerns, near misses, and incidents promptly
  • Support warehouse audits and compliance checks

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Assist with basic data tracking (volume, productivity, error rates)
  • Participate in process improvement projects and pilot initiatives
  • Help communicate daily goals, priorities, and process changes to associates
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new warehouse associates
  • Act as a point of contact for associates when Team Leaders are unavailable

Team Leadership (Intern Level)

Support Team Leaders in coaching associates on standard work and safety practices



About You

  • Native Chinese speakers preferred.
  • graduating in 2025 and 2026; currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field Strong analytical skills and proficient in Excel.
  • Clear logical thinking, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong interest in supply chain and e-commerce industries, with a willingness to grow in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
