Payactiv is seeking an Enterprise Client Migration Specialist based in our Milpitas CA office, who is passionate about creating user-centric fintech solutions that empower businesses and workers alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of financial products, and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.

What you will do…
  • Manage End-to-End Migration: Oversee the entire migration process for new enterprise clients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and timely transition from legacy systems.
  • Data Mapping and Integrity: Execute and validate complex data mappings, including Employee ID transitions (old ID to new ID), Paygroup configurations, and Payroll Calendar alignments between current and new providers.
  • System Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly between legacy systems, current payroll platforms, and new time & attendance software to facilitate technical integrations and data migration.
  • Timeline Oversight: Develop and manage customized migration project plans, establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure all milestones are met without service interruption.
  • Credential and API Management: Guide clients through credential setups for payroll and time platforms, including the acquisition of sensitive integration data such as Vanity URLs, OAuthID/ClientIDs, and OAuth Secrets from third-party vendors.
  • Stakeholder Training: Provide technical demonstrations and comprehensive training to client stakeholders to ensure successful platform adoption following the migration.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve potential technical roadblocks or data discrepancies during the migration lifecycle, escalating issues as necessary to maintain project velocity.
  • Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, offering best-practice recommendations for data structure and system configuration to maximize the client#39's return on investment.
What you need…
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role with a specific,proven focus on data migration, system conversions, or complex platform transitions for enterprise-level clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in data mapping protocols, system integration workflows, and credential management.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes migration timelines and multi-layered technical projects.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical migration steps to non-technical stakeholders.
