Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.
Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Data Manager to help drive the strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations of our market data function. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective market data across multiple asset classes and data sources. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in market data management, hands on vendor relationship management, along with the ability to lead this function from day one.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with market data vendors, including onboarding, audits, and cost optimization
  • Support data governance initiatives, including documentation, controls, and quality metrics
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for data quality and usage
  • Assist in implementing new data platforms, tools, or feed integrations
  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders at all levels of the firm to align market data strategy with business needs
  • Respond to issues in real time, applying sound judgment and problem-solving to deliver effective outcomes

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in market data, financial services, or a related analytical role
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX)
  • Experience with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
  • Proficiency with SQL; Python is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate relationships across all levels of the firm
