Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical executional role within Cortland's Community Marketing team, turning marketing plans into action by coordinating projects, maintaining key channels, and delivering polished assets that meet brand standards. Through your support, organization and delivery of exceptional work, the Marketing Coordinator helps the team ensure that Cortland's communities show up correctly, competitively, and compellingly at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Execute day-to-day community marketing initiatives by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the creation, updates, and distribution of marketing materials across digital and on-site channels, ensuring brand standards are consistently met.
  • Own intake and tracking of marketing requests, maintaining clear documentation and organized workflows from start to finish.
  • Update and maintain community marketing platforms, listings, and content with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and brand alignment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
  • Prepare and organize marketing assets, files, and reporting to support visibility into active and completed initiatives.
  • Conduct quality checks on marketing materials to reduce errors and ensure a polished, professional community presence.
  • Support ongoing process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline coordination, communication, and execution.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related coordination or support role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and brand consistency
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
