  • Operate change management processes for updates to governance charter, organizational structure, and data assets
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the governance council and operational teams

Data Quality Management

  • Publish and maintain data quality dashboards across all domains (customer, supplier, contact, item)
  • Lead data certification processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of master data
  • Oversee Data Quality Developers in implementing quality controls and monitoring frameworks
  • Identify data quality issues and coordinate remediation efforts with appropriate stakeholders

Data Community & Stewardship

  • Support lead data stewards in building and operating data communities
  • Provide insights on program adoption, quality metrics, and areas requiring attention
  • Support lead data stewards in driving engagement and accountability within their domains
  • Foster a culture of data ownership and quality across the organization

Program Operations & Monitoring

  • Lead the "continuously operate and monitor" phase of the governance program post-go-live
  • Track and report program KPIs to leadership and stakeholders
  • Conduct program audits and present findings with actionable recommendations
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in governance processes

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with data owners and lead data stewards on day-to-day governance activities
  • Engage IT program sponsors and domain owners when leadership involvement is required
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT system owners across all functions and regions
  • Work closely with project teams including vendor partners on project deliverables

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on data governance experience
  • Proven track record of implementing and operationalizing governance programs

  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting data quality dashboards and metrics
  • Understanding of change management processes and governance frameworks

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong facilitation skills for conducting council meetings and driving consensus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across organizational boundaries
  • Experience building and sustaining communities of practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Data Management (MDM) experience, particularly in customer, supplier, contact, or item domains
  • Manufacturing industry experience across multiple countries and regions
  • Familiarity with global data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
