As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's C&IB Data Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA; Cleveland, OH; or Wilmington, DE.
Role Overview:
As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Corporate and Institutional Banking division (C&IB), you will join the Data Analytics and Solutions team to work on various strategic initiatives across the C&IB line of business. You will leverage analytical tools and emerging technologies, including AI, to create innovative data products and streamlined solutions to drive C&IB's business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise to create data driven solutions in support of the business' data needs.
Consult with business partners on data solution development. Understand business strategy, audience, implementation plan and monitoring requirements.
Determine the optimal analytic approach, execute standard best practices around development, validation, end user testing and continued enhancements.
Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience performing complex queries, joins, data manipulation, and data wrangling.
Strong understanding of database structures, relational databases, and data management principles.
Experience using TOAD or similar database management/query tools.
Proven ability to analyze, validate, and transform large, complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools.
Experience enhancing, modernizing, and automating reporting and analytics solutions.
Knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
Experience with Generative AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics techniques.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-powered analytics workflows.
