Job Description
Cape Fox subsidiary, Eagle Health, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Enrollment Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to join our team in support of a federal government client. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while supporting application intake and processing, data entry, records management, documentation verification, quality assurance, compliance tracking, and reporting activities. This position is contingent upon the award.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is: $90,800 - $92,900
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits, including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as a 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Core Duties:
  • Front-line intake and application processing
  • Data entry and records maintenance
  • Customer and applicant support
  • Mail processing and front desk operations
  • Receive, log, and track all incoming applications and supporting documents
  • Review applications for completeness and accuracy based on BIA standards
  • Conduct genealogical research and documentation verification as needed
  • Prevent fraudulent submissions by validating the authenticity of supporting evidence
  • Enter all applicant data into the Enrollment database, ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain both physical and electronic records
  • Prepare applicant correspondence, including status updates, deficiency notices, and determinations
  • Staff analyze family tree history, verify lineage, check for fraud, and ensure eligibility
  • Conducts periodic audits for accuracy and completeness
  • Checks compliance with the government tribal enrollment and records management requirements
  • Maintains privacy and safeguards compliance
  • Prepares monthly processing metrics
  • Generates ad hoc reports on application trends and operational issues
  • Provides weekly updates to the Alaska Region Enrollment database
  • Tracks application progress and determinations
  • Supports SOP development, training completion, and process improvements
  • Accurate and timely processing of all applications
  • SOPs and policy manuals completed within the early performance period
  • Reduction in errors and improved fraud detection

Job Requirements
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with computer data entry and database management preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Experience in administrative processing, records management, and customer service
  • Knowledge of Alaska Native communities, tribal enrollment, and genealogical research (preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate with tribal representatives and federal staff.
  • Experience in policy development and technical writing
  • Required to pass a background investigation successfully
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
