Position Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Migration Validation Analyst to oversee the end-to-end data reconciliation and quality assurance for a complex migration pipeline moving data from a legacy Mainframe system, through a SQL staging database, and into Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between legacy data structures and modern cloud architecture, ensuring 100% data integrity, zero record loss, and perfect relational mapping.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Reconciliation: Validate data at every hop of the migration pipeline (Mainframe to SQL, and SQL to Salesforce), ensuring record counts, hash totals, and financial/statistical summaries match across all environments.
• Schema & Mapping Verification: Review Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and write complex SQL scripts to verify that data transformation logic, data types, and truncation rules are accurately implemented.
• Salesforce Target Validation: Use SOQL, Data Loader, and Workbench to verify that relational integrity (parent-child relationships), External IDs, and object schemas are perfectly intact post-load.
• Defect Triage: Identify, document, and track data anomalies (e.g., character encoding issues, orphaned records, null constraint violations) and collaborate with Informatica ETL and Salesforce developers to remediate them.
Required Technical Skills

• SQL Mastery: Advanced querying skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and data profiling scripts).
• Salesforce Core: Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, standard/custom objects, SOQL, and data loading mechanisms.
• Legacy Data Literacy: Familiarity with parsing fixed-width flat files, or validating EBCDIC-to-ASCII conversions.
Scripting/Automation: Experience using Python (Pandas) or advanced Excel/Power Query to perform automated, row-by-row cross-system file comparisons.
• AI Exp: would be a plus
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL Server, Salesforce Service Cloud and data conversion testing / validation.
