ServiceNow Developer - Must be local to Ohio

This position is onsite 5 days/week

In-person interview is required

Position: Programmer 4-PR4 (ServiceNow Developer)

Location: Columbus, OH

Visa: USC,H1B, H4EAD,OPT (PP number is mandatory to fetch I94)

Interview Type:  In-person interview 

This position is onsite 5 days/week

The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Information Technology ServiceNow Delivery Team and SPECIFICALLY, THE SERVICENOW PRODUCT.

This position will function as a skilled ServiceNow Developer within the Department of Information Technology. Potential projects include:

•     Enhancement & maintenance of existing custom solutions

•     Solutions development in the ServiceNow platform

•     Service Catalog item development

•     Participation in requirements and/or design review sessions

•     Ability to design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that satisfy business requirements communicated in writing and/or verbally

•     Ability to troubleshoot/debug issues in existing applications.

•     Ability to troubleshoot/debug platform issues using the System Logs and/or debugging tools.

•     Ability to use various browser-based debugging tools (ex: Chrome, IE, Firefox)

•     Ability to conduct demos with client stakeholders and elicit feedback.

•     Ability to work in an Agile project management environment

•     Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including strong meeting and work session skills

•     Proven experience in handling data conversion including but not limited to data integration (real time and batch) mapping, transformations, bulk data import/export, mass updates, cut over plan, exception handling

Required Skills:

•     6+ years ServiceNow Client and Server JavaScript coding experience (Ex: Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages, JellyScripts, etc.)

•     6+ years ServiceNow Client and Server Scripting APIs (Ex: GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.)

•     6+ years experience building custom workflows

•     3+ years HTML/CSS/AJAX development experience

•     3+ years role/group-based ACLs configuration and debugging

•     1+ year of Service Portal development

(e.g. Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJs)

Desired Skills:

•     ServiceNow CSM or PSDS Experience

•     ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

•     ITIL V3 Foundations Certification

•     UX/UI Design
