Job description

Job Title: Order Management Data Associate

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Tues–Thurs)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Eligibility: Candidates must be based in California


About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized Order Management Data Associate to support wholesale and retail operations within a fast-growing beauty brand. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy, smooth fulfillment, and strong coordination between internal teams and retail partners.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, managing high volumes of purchase orders, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EDI, retailer portals, and Excel-heavy reporting is essential.

This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).


What You’ll Be Doing
  • Download and process customer orders from SPS Commerce (EDI)

  • Organize order data into centralized master tracking files

  • Validate order quantities against warehouse inventory balances

  • Enter and maintain accurate order data across internal systems

  • Track weekly and monthly order volumes by customer, SKU, and value

  • Monitor REACH orders and update ASN and invoices in SPS Commerce

  • Confirm pricing, allowances, discounts, and shipping windows

  • Submit shipment confirmations and customer invoices

  • Troubleshoot order, ASN, and invoice discrepancies

  • Issue credit memos and return orders when required

  • Work closely with warehouse, finance, and cross-functional teams

  • Support large volumes of vendors and purchase orders efficiently


What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred)

  • 2–4 years of experience in order management, sales support, or data-focused operations

  • Experience working with retailer portals and EDI transactions

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)

  • Comfortable managing high order volumes in a deadline-driven environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication


Nice to Have
  • Experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Process improvement mindset and interest in operations efficiency
