Please note that this is an onsite opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Chart Auditing & Data Transfer: Audit patient charts provided by hospital liaisons to ensure accuracy before transitioning patients to Home Health care.
  • EMR Data Entry: Transfer medical chart data directly from Epic into the EMR system.
  • Physician Verification Calls: Place MD confirmation calls to verify primary care providers (PCP) for incoming Home Health patients (no direct patient contact required; insurance verification handled by a separate team).
  • Workload & Coverage: Process approximately 15-25 charts and make a corresponding volume of calls daily, supporting healthcare facilities across California.

Required Skills:
  • Strong technical proficiency and accurate data entry skills.
  • Experience or background in medical records or healthcare insurance.
  • Proven critical thinking and fast decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and a strong work history/job tenure.

Preferred Skills:
  • Associates degree

  • Understanding of medical terminology

Schedule/Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; includes 1.5 weekends per month (flex day provided for each weekend day worked; schedule provided a month in advance, may scale down to 1 weekend/month)
