WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Sr. Product Development & Data Analytics Associate is responsible for supporting the management, improvement and maintenance of HCA's products, programs, pricing and incentives in order to maximize sales efficiency and meet other company objectives. Primary responsibilities include  performing business impact analyses and data visualization, supporting pricing optimization, and assisting with the management of 3rd party product partners.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

     1. Pricing optimization and management

  • Analyze complex data modeling and inputs to pricing optimization interface

  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve product pricing and innovate existing processes

2. Pricing analytics

  • Evaluate pricing performance utilizing reports and ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities to improve

3. Department performance reporting and analytics

  • Develop and design department reporting and data access using software  tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau

  • Create and summarize competitive analyses utilizing external data sources  and effective data visualization

4. Non-prime products and programs

  • Active role with the management and performance monitoring of key non[1]prime products and partnerships

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Minimum 4-6 years related experience with financial calculation and analytical frameworks to compare financial products and pricing.

  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry and understanding of retail, lease, and commercial financing a plus.

  • Experience working on pricing programs for a captive finance company or other automotive finance company a plus.

  • Experience with programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, SAS, and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.

  • Experience with JD Power Navigator/Explorer is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Business, Statistics or related field.

  • Ability to extract, analyze and independently draw insight from data in enterprise databases.

  • Intermediate programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, SAS, and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

  • Efficient execution skills complemented by analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Concise written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex terms and concepts to management both visually (PowerPoint) and in writing.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

  • Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices.

  • Ability to independently work in a dynamic environment with extended work hours.
