JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Laboratory Data Assistant for a temporary role to provide technical documentation management support to the R&D Manager.
The role is fully on-site in Burbank, CA and is expected to last 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Procurement of technical documents from ingredient and packaging vendors in support of product registration
  • Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of document retrieval checking against requests dates to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Review technical documents for critical information and address any deficiencies with vendors
  • Additional duties given by the R&D Manager
  • Additional duties to assist the VP Regulatory and Quality with uploading documentation into regulatory databases to meet project timelines
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have an Associates or a Bachelors in a scientific discipline; OR 3 to 5 years of experience within a scientific or academic environment.
  • Prior experience in FDA regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, or cosmetics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detailed follow-up on outstanding items to achieve workload targets
  • The ability to remain flexible and adjust to multiple priorities
  • Strong follow-up and persuasion skills needed to achieve deliverables
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
