Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Strategy Analyst collects, analyzes and reports management data to support decisions on day to day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues and improvements. Uses data to obtain quantifiable economic benefit to accrue market share, revenue, or cost savings. Collates, models, interprets and analyzes data; explains variance and trends. Identifies and documents enhancements to modeling techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Systematically identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Translate market and pipeline data into actionable strategies.
  • Supporting structured business reviews and planning cycles.
  • Generate business review statistics and reporting including sales, orders, year over year growth by office and region.
  • Provide tracking of total business by revenue and segment by product lines, customers, verticals, regions.
  • Analyze inventory run rates, safety stock, and recommended buy/sell products to support growth while reducing cost.
  • Publish available inventory to sales teams.
  • Aid in quota determination, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Report on opportunity registrations by partners including product, revenue, win/loss rates, and forecasting.
  • Review and publish sales leads via CRM, track and publish quote and order rates.
  • Develop business intelligence reports from available sources such as news, construction data, websites.
  • Identify AI tools and functions to aide in sales processes, reporting, communications.
  • Learn about Vertiv products, applications, and processes.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelors degree with experience in data analytics, business, or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Team Player, Organized, Efficient, Self Motivated.
  • Knowledge of tools such as PowerBI, CRM, Excel to efficiently create reports and analysis.

OTHER

  • Position is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
  • Hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch.
  • Occasional business travel for training and meetings.
